Underground pipes move overtime which results in cracks and joint displacement. Faults such as these will be identified during a survey – our first option is to repair the fault using no-dig technology – essentially installing a patch or liner into the affected area from inside the pipe. This is generally lower cost and less disruptive than a dig-down repair – often avoiding road closures.
Sometimes the damage is too severe to be repaired this way and a dig-down has to be undertaken.
